Watering Schedule

For a successful crop, provide the first irrigation approximately 45 days after sowing during the flowering stage. The second irrigation should follow at the pod formation stage, around 75 days after sowing. Avoid over-watering to prevent root issues, and ensure the field has proper drainage to keep the soil moisture at a healthy level throughout the cycle.

Correct Quantity

To achieve an ideal plant population and maximum yield, use a seed rate of 32 to 40 kg per acre. Ensure a row-to-row spacing of 30 cm and a plant-to-plant distance of 10 cm. Sowing at a depth of 5 to 7 cm in moist soil will help the seeds germinate quickly and grow into healthy, uniform plants.

Nutrition Plan

Apply a basal dose of 20 kg Nitrogen, 50 kg Phosphorus, and 20 kg Sulfur per hectare at the time of sowing. It is highly recommended to treat seeds with Rhizobium culture to improve natural nitrogen fixation. These nutrients provide the essential foundation for bold grain development and ensure the crop remains vibrant and green until the harvest.
