Best Market Price: High quality yield ensures the highest Mandi rates.

Ideal Sowing Time: Sow October to November for maximum seasonal cuts.

Healthy Growth: Naturally fights diseases to protect your crop yield.

Rapid Regrowth: Quick recovery after harvesting for more frequent cuts.

Watering Schedule

Irrigation: Maintain consistent soil moisture for best results. The first irrigation should be given immediately after sowing, followed by the second within 8 to 10 days. During the peak growth period, water every 12 to 15 days depending on soil type to ensure lush, continuous regrowth after every cut.

Correct Quantity

Seed Rate: Use 8 to 10 kg of seeds per acre for a dense and uniform fodder spread. Ensure the seeds are treated or mixed with soil/sand for even distribution. For better germination, soak the seeds in water for 6 to 8 hours before sowing in a well-prepared, leveled field.

Nutrition Plan

Fertilizer: Apply a balanced basal dose of 20 kg Nitrogen and 60 kg Phosphorus per acre at the time of sowing. Since Berseem is a legume, it fixes nitrogen, but a light application of urea after each cut helps stimulate faster leaf growth and maintains the deep green color.
